About me

Hello my friend!

This page is an “unofficial CV” of mine, so feel free to read and contact me. I’m always open for new connections and opportunities :) .

My name is Dmitry Linkov. I was born 10-th September 1983 in Moscow (Russia), and still live here. In 2006 received my masters diploma in General & Strategic management. Since that time I continue visiting the university, but now as a teacher. I make training on systems approach with my colleague Bayram Annakov (check out the Empatika project page (Russian language only)).

My experience in work is very diversified. In all places I worked for a year (that is very bad according to official HR standards, but very efficient and useful from unofficial ones ;) . Here are companies I worked for:

While working in publishing house I was proud to release the following books on Russian market:

  1. Funky business forever
  2. Images of organization
  3. Market based management (by Roger Best)
  4. Why should anyone be led by you
  5. Leadership through conflict
  6. Science lessons
  7. Momentum effect

My hero is Richard Branson: I like his approach to life in trying everything new. That’s why my interests and hobbies are very different. As I already mentioned, I am in systems thinking a lot. I read a lot of books, most of them are business related (60%) but not all. I like Terry Pratchett for his Flat world and adore reading Japanese authors. I like retro photography – I use film and 55 years old photo camera. You can see my works on my Flickr page. I do like music and sometimes I even open my Logic Pro application and start composing melodies.

I like connecting people and my last internet passion is Twitter. I adore traveling and non touristic routes. I like good design, good music, Apple, new ideas and everything new in general. Don’t hesitate to contact me – I’ll be happy to get involved in something new!

p.s.: the word “new” was repeated on this page for 5 times. oops, after the last sentence it’s already 6 :)
