According to the comments I read about the book, people were waiting to see implementation of micro-macro economic models or something from this kind. But not the play with statistics.

For an English reader here in the US a book about &quot;economics&quot; most likely expect &quot;statistical methods&quot;. Statistical analysis is the most important tool of an economist.

Is that different for a Russian audience? Would they expect more theory? Or more sociological case study?

Just wondering what your take on how the term &quot;economics&quot; creates certain expectations for Russian readers.
