A good friend of mine Mucho from Zürich brought me the above two books! Great thanks mate!
By the way, that’s a good time to tell you a bit about Russian post service. Well actually the only thing I can say about it – it’s just awful! I even couldn’t get books from Amazon through international shipping – just because of this. Thank god people in Amazon return my payment…

Heh)
Well in general this information was not known by me, and the facts that author wrote about were interesting for me!
Maybe the fact that you knew everything before was the reason that you don’t like the reading, but I didn’t. )

By the way, I already mentioned “The HEDONISM Handbook” by Michael Flocker. It is a real manual to master the lost arts of leisure and pleasure. Many interesting ideas about the things that we are doing in our day-to-day life.
Some rules for hedonists:
live and let live
you only live once
just do it
I’m too sexy
never say never
I also liked the approach to work:
Energy is a valuable commodity not to be wasted on neurotic obsessions when it could and should be applied to the cultivation of love, happiness and pleasure. “The longer the list of duties, tasks, obligations and responsibilities I have, the more important I am. And the more important I am, the longer my list of duties, tasks, obligations and responsibilities.” If those same energies could be freed up, they could be applies to far more noble and rewarding persuits.
10 sensible rules for the workplace:
1. Always take the path of least resistance
2. Never do more than is truly necessary
3. Know your intention and focus on the goal
4. Take responsibility only for that which is yours
5. Accept that you can control only your own actions
6. Do not attempt to control others
7. Always remain flexible
8. If it’s a struggle, rethink it
9. Never try to force a situation
10. Keep it in perspective
Great, isn’t it?)))

Hello, my friend!)))
This time I’m afraid I do not share your opinion on Freakonomics.
Unfortunately, I didn’t find any new ideas, it was just very long explanaitions of known facts for me. What I wanted from the author – to be 3 times quicker in explaining his views.
Moreover, the cases mentioned in this book – cheating teachers, criminals, sumo wrestlers etc. have nothing in common with me, so, maybe that’s the main issue…
What did you like about it?
