Sincerly your “pleasure for/from work – long term” concept is making me THINK about it.

I am already reading “Karaoke Capitalism”, it’s very similar to their first book, it works as a Funky Update.

Now I’m starting a part-time activity, wich is a rock music internet radio (which has a blog)… I have thought that there will be a moment when I’ll be moving full time to broadcast and share the word.

Sincerly your “pleasure for/from work – long term” concept is making me whink about it.

This is true. I highly recommend you to read the “Free Agent Nation” book, but again – it is about USA. Just because their economic situation is much different the Idea of this post is more applicable to them than to us. Here in Russia we also have to survive, and it’s sometimes hard when you do what you want. Anyway it’s possible, because sometimes “it’s all inside you”.

Moving to the big city will help you I think. But what I think – blogging is right for you! You can broadcast there, right your own Ideas – I’ll support you as I can! This is a very exciting step, and it will help you a lot to establish the certain way of thinking. Just because your blog is YOURs, and you can do whatever you want there.

The Funky Business is a superb book. I’m on the way to read Karaoke Capitalism by the same authors.

I have already finished my “Licenciatura en Mercadotecnia” (equal to a Bachellors Degree in Marketing), I have special interest in branding, organizational culture, corporate id, communications and media. But now I’m like “paralized” at the Oil & Engineering Industry, I have entered this area just because is the best well paid industry, my case, recent college graduate $60usd per day (locally).

By the way, answer to your post, I wish I could do what I like (broadcast, marketing & media, activism); but the inmidiate questions are: Will I survive ? (talking about personal economy, balance, and all that stuff). Because local market and culture is so reduced for my offer. Maybe I’ve have to move to a bigger city (I live in a city of 300,000 people, 80% focused in Oil Industry).
